Outside Food Policy

Requirements for food or treats brought to share with students:

• Must be store-bought
• Must be in the original packaging
• Must be individually wrapped (i.e. cupcakes instead of a full cake)
• Must have the ingredients on the label

This helps us to protect students with allergies and is non-negotiable. Please coordinate with your student's teacher to determine an appropriate day and time for celebrations.

Birthday Bites

OCPS Food and Nutrition Services has a program called Birthday Bites where parents can order a snack and celebration for their student's class, which will be served at their recess time, along with singing Happy Birthday (if applicable).
