Toys, Games, and Electronics Policy
This notice is to inform you that there will be no games, toys, or electronics allowed at Killarney Elementary. These items are often disruptive to a positive learning environment for students.
Examples of items not allowed at school:
- iPods and MP3 players
- iPads, tablets, and Kindles
- Music playing devices
- Handheld gaming devices
Cell phones are allowed only if they are turned off and remain in the student’s backpack. If a student is using a cell phone during school hours, it will be taken away.
If an item is taken away from a student at school, a parent or guardian may come and pick up the item at their convenience. If a student has an item taken away from them a second time, the parent or guardian may come and pick up the item at the end of the year.
We want all Killarney students to have an interruption-free learning experience each and every day. This will also prevent any items from being lost, damaged, or misplaced.
